Graphic novel news

The latest book from Garth Ennis and DC Comics's Vertigo stable has come to our attention via its UK distributer Titan Books. Pride & Joy is quoted as bringing "a poignant, familial twist to a hard-boiled tale of crime, revenge and responsibility" and features artwork by John Higgins.

Also out this month from DC and Titan is the third book in the Birds of Prey series - Of Like Minds. This volume, about three of DC's popular female superheroes, is written by Gail Simone with art by Ed Benes, Alex Lei and Rob Lea.
