Extraordinary titles from Titan 

Titan Books has a slew of books out in the UK tomorrow, including the long awaited League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume II by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill, finally out in paperback in the UK. Fans of the original Conan comics from Marvel have got the fifth volume, In the Shadow of the Tomb and Other Stories, to add to their collections, and Wildstorm watchers won't want to miss The Authority: Human on the Inside in a gorgeous hardback edition.

DC's books for January 

DC Comics has announced the books it's going to release in January, under DC, Vertigo and Wildstorm imprints. You can see the full list here, but highlights include Greg Rucka's Superman: Unconventional Warfare, Jodorowsky and Moebius's The Incal Vol. 1, and Christin and Bilal's The Chaos Effect. If you're not familiar with the names behind the latter two books, Comic Book Resources has an interview with the Managing Editor of Humanoids Publishing, the European graphic novel publisher that the titles originate from.

Road to Perdition sequel discussed 

The Muscatine Journal takes an interest in the sequels to Road to Perdition, one of which is going to be a graphic novel, written by local writer Max Allan Collins. Road to Perdition 2: On the Road is due for release from DC Comics on 3 November 2004.

Transformers and Dan Dare 

Late additions to the September line-up from Titan Books have just come in, bringing good news for Dan Dare fans awaiting the second and final installment of Voyage to Venus. Volume 2 of the classic British sci-fi adventure should be available now, along with Transformers: Trial By Fire, which collects the original Marvel Comics mini-series that introduced the Headmasters to the Transformers range. Both books are available in the UK and are ready for pre-ordering in the US.
