Hot on the heels of the Strontium Dog collection comes that of another 2000AD favourite, Nemesis the Warlock. Written by Pat Mills and illustrated by Kevin O’Neill and Bryan Talbot, Nemesis was a strange mix of swords and sci-fi.
In a similar vein to Star Wars, Termight was an evil underground empire run by a vicious helmeted dictator called Torquemada. Nemesis was just that – his ultimate adversary, fighting for freedom and rebellion. Despite the similarities to the basic premise, however, this is far more than a simple Star Wars clone, though it will undoubtedly appeal to a similar kind of audience.
