One of the fattest Batman books we’ve seen for a while at a shelf-busting 288 pages, City of Crime sees the Dark Knight fight his own guilt at failing to thwart the kidnapping of a teenage girl. With his emotions clouding his better judgement, he sifts through the street-slime that lurks in the darkest recesses of Gotham City, looking for the clues he needs to solve the mystery. However, looking in so many dark corners, the Batman uncovers more dark secrets than he’d hoped to find. City of Crime is written by David Lapham and drawn by Raymond Bachs; and is available now in the UK from Titan Books and the US from DC Comics.
