Perhaps it’s because he mixes with full-on, super-powered heroes when he only has his all-too-human brawn and a few gadgets to get him through, that Batman is so supremely popular. But he’s also the world’s greatest detective – a fact that’s often lost when battling some of his more conspicuous arch-enemies. In this book, however, Paul Dini (perhaps most famous for his work on Batman: The Animated Series) brings the detective back into Batman, but still manages to include some traditional enemies: the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin and Poison Ivy. Fancy a bit of mystery in your superhero comics? You know where to come.
