With an ongoing comic series like Batman, there are an unlimited number of tales to tell. But some periods in a superhero’s life are more poignant and important than others. In this book, collecting a mini-series of comics unusually written and illustrated by different authors and writers, we see the changing landscape of Batman’s relationship with Police Commissioner Jim Gordon. While these two men have common goals, their views on how these goals should be implemented vary wildly. And while they have often been friends, they have also spent time as rivals.
Ed Brubaker, Greg Rucka and Chuck Dixon have a go at stories, while art duties are passed on to some of Batman‘s finest, including Dick Giordano and Paul Pope.
