It’s been available in the US from Scholastic for a while, but we’re ecstatic to note that Jeff Smith’s acclaimed Bone series is being republished in the UK by HarperCollins Children’s Books. The series, originally published in black and white, has been coloured for a new generation of readers.
In this first book, three Bone cousins (Fone Bone, Phoney Bone and Smiley Bone) are booted from their home town because of Phoney’s bad behaviour. However, adventures abound when the three are separated, and Fone Bone finds himself having to thwart the plans of an evil rat-like beast.
