Buck Danny was originally created by Georges Troisfontaines, Victor Hubinon and Jean-Michel Charlier, just after World War II. This series brings the character up to date, under the careful stewardship of Francis Bergèse.
Danny is an American fighter pilot, perhaps the best in the US Air Force. In this first volume he is charged with rescuing a colleague, who has been shot down over communist North Korea. The Americans have hushed the incident up to avoid further military escalations, so Danny must work as covertly as a fighter pilot is able to bring his friend back to US soil unharmed.
Publisher Cinebook suggests this action-packed adventure story is suitable for children aged eight and over.
