Cute? Certainly. But Simone Lia’s Fluffy isn’t a straightforward book about a baby bunny and the man who looks after him. Fluffy is struggling to come to terms with the fact that Michael Pulcino is not his Dad and that Fluffy is, in fact, a rabbit and not a little boy. But despite the confusion, the pair end up having to travel to Sicily to avoid Fluffy’s nursery school teacher and stay with Michael’s family. High on charm, pathos and a suitable dash of the absurd, Fluffy was originally published as four volumes but is now available in hardback in the UK from Jonathan Cape.
