As well as publishing English translations of our current favourite French fantasy/comedy graphic novel series Dungeon, NBM’s been busy with its ComicsLit line, translating some more of Europe’s most interesting graphic novels.
Glacial Period looks fascinating. Writer and artist Nicolas De Crecy imagines a world thousand of years into the future, when human history as we know it has been long forgotten. But when a handful of archaeologists dig up the remains of the Louvre, they have to make their own interpretations about what some of the world’s most famous artworks must mean. The results, we’re told, make for a great comedy of the absurd.
