The wreckage of the title is, of course, the aftermath of the Infinite Crisis storyline that superimposed itself over DC Comics entire line-up. In this book, Judd Winick has Oliver Queen, aka the Green Arrow, doing a bit of a Brian K. Vaughan’s Ex Machina, and standing for mayor of his beloved Star City.
And if a city ever needed a superhero mayor, it’s probably this one: organised crime is rife; the rich are preying on the poor. Someone needs to do something to bring the city back from the brink. It’d probably help, however, if Queen wasn’t out to make enemies of his new adversaries. Rich enemies. Enemies more than happy to track down and let loose Green Arrow’s arch-enemy: Deathstroke.
