Heroes are probably most interesting to watch when they’re flawed. And Hal Jordan, the second Green Lantern, is certainly that. Having found himself brought into the Green Lantern Corps by the pilot of a crashed alien spaceship, Hal Jordan had a rocky ride through superhero life: spending time as an evil villain during a moment of lapsed sanity; becoming the living embodiment of God’s wrath (aka the Spectre); and, perhaps most troublesome of all, having died.
Now, however, he’s back, in the careful hands of writer Geoff Johns. In this book he finds himself fighting a few familiar old foes but fans of this particular incarnation of the Lantern will also find a few surprises in store.
