Let me state for the record that Nemesis the Warlock was one of the comic strips that dragged me into a life-long (so far) love of comics. I’m clearly not alone, because when Rebellion released its hardback collected edition of Nemesis strips, called Nemesis the Warlock: The Early Heresies last year, it sold out within 24 hours.
If you were one of the lucky few to get hold of a copy you’ll be delighted to hear that the second volume (The Later Heresies) is now available to order through the 2000AD website. However, in even better news, Rebellion is also reprinting The Early Heresies, for anyone who missed out last time.
Written by Pat Mills and illustrated by some of British comics’ all-time greats (including Kevin O’Neill, Bryan Talbot and John Hicklenton), Nemesis is an extraordinary blend of fantasy and science fiction. Packed with Mills’ usual blend of action and drama, disguising layers of social commentary, the otherworldliness of Nemesis has kept it relevant through the decades.
Both books need to be ordered before the 12 October 2020 to guarantee a copy.
