Nephylym

Rei Kusakabe’s Nephylym takes the concept of a guardian angel and manga-fies it. When a young lad called Shun discovers he has the ability to control static electricity, he also finds out he has a Nephylym – a winged being that helps protect humanity from Noirs (manifestations of the dark side of mankind).

Being a kid in a manga, Shun is head-over-heels in love with his classmate, Sanari, who also happens to have a Nephylym partner. It would be a match made in heaven if it weren’t for the inevitable love triangle – Tsukasa loves Sanari too, and also has a Nephylym. They end up fighting battles together as a six-some, but will the boys’ adoration of Sanari drive a wedge through this fledgling team of heroes?
