It’s been a while since Grovel sampled a good fantasy series – maybe Saga Valta could be the one. With a bit of a viking saga about it, Valgar of Valta has to embark on an epic quest to rescue his wife and infant son from the troublesome clutches of his father-in-law, who doesn’t think Valgar is worthy of his daughter’s affections. To complete his quest, told over three volumes in the series, Valgar will need to vanquish monsters, find allies, avoid black magic and find his way home again.
Written by Jean Dufaux and illustrated by Mohamed Aouamri, all three volumes are available now through Europe Comics.
