Many of the creators behind this anthology of superhero stories are household names, at least in households that love comics. But they have another thing in common – they’re all Asian Americans.
Despite how broadly the Asian American is represented amongst the creators of comics, characters from this ethnic group are few and far between, while superheroes are all but non-existent.
This is where Secret Identities comes in, with an attempt to redress the balance (albeit in a small way) by offering 200 pages of superhero stories from an Asian perspective.
