In this collection, Superman has yet to be recognised as an official fighter of crime and hasn’t fully realised his powers, though invulnerability and enormous strength are obviously enough to fend off his current roster of adversaries: mad scientists, organised crime warlords and evil businessmen (and you thought they were an invention of the 1980s).
