If you’ve been following the previous Superman/Batman books then you’ll know what to expect with this one: slightly off-beat Jeph Loeb stories of DC’s finest in a well presented package. Art in this volume is handled by Ed McGuiness and Dexter Vines, who make a welcome return to the drawing board after kicking the whole thing off back in Public Enemies. As usual, Loeb’s script is a bit tangential, relying on a visit to an alternate Earth to enable him to flesh out his serial superhero fantasies without meddling with the existing DC Universe.
