The mystery surrounding the CIA’s MK-Ultra mind control experiments isn’t the newest of conspiracy theories, but this book claims to be the first to translate it into a comic. Writer Jason Ciaccia (hang on, he’s got CIA in his surname – twice!) apparently basis his research into the subject on 18,000 recently declassified CIA documents, which reveal more than ever before about the drugs, the tests, the guinnea pigs (normal American citizens) and the disasters. It explains how a CIA operative codenamed Bob was sent to topple Fidel Castro of Cuba from power by doping him with LSD shortly before he’s due to give a televised speech.
