Art books aren’t Grovel‘s usual thing, but this is worth a mention because there are plenty of comics to be read in it. A retrospective of Greg Irons‘ work, this covers everything from early poster work, through his underground comics (which often aimed to shock through their graphic depiction of sex and violence), and even photos of his innovative tattoos. It’s a must have for fans of the icon’s work or anyone with an interest in the underground comics that came out of San Francisco in the late 1960s.
